Your Councillors have been busy on
roads and pavements...
London Road Pavement Cleared
Several people have expressed concern
that the pavement along London Road was
unpassable because the hedge had grown
so thick. Your councillors, Kevin
Cardy and Mary Douglas, on your behalf,
have got the hedge cut back and have
also asked for the earth to be scraped
off the pavement so you can safely
pass.
Pearce Way – yellow lines on the way…
These are now being advertised so
should be painted soon
St Thomas Way – white lines have
arrived!
Our persistence has paid off and we now
have white lines down the middle of St
Thomas Way. Hopefully this will
encourage drivers to stay on the
correct side of the road!
