The Macular Disease Society provide information and support on a wide range of macular diseases and the associated problems.
macular disease is usually associated with middle age and upwards. However, there are several different forms of MD and some can be present from an early age. They may be due to genetics or severe myopia.
The MD society provides a newsletter and can also put you in contact with other people experiencing similar visual problems.
