Low Vision Aid Clinic - in the Salisbury area, based at the Salisbury District Hospital site.

01722 425 175

We are fortunate in the Salisbury area having one of these clinics. Not many of them exist on a national basis.

Referral from an Optician or your Eye Consultant is necessary, but if referred via the NHS then the consultation is free. Some recommended aids may be free.

Private referrals are also accepted but a charge is made for the consultation plus all aids provided.

Low vision aids to help with reading and watching TY can be provided. Also advice on lighting - which is more important than most people realise. There are many aids available for all sorts of daily activities. If you or someone you know has a visual problem, then get them referred, ASAP.
