Tips 3

Visually Impaired - lighting is ver important. It can make all the difference between squinting and reading easily.

A good halogen bulb (11 watt) will make grey writing darker and a dull white background, much brighter.

This greater contrast between print and paper makes reading even the same sizwe print that much easier.

Green Light - this causes colours to stand out more clearly from each other. It is used by the Forces to read maps at night so they can distinguish between different colours.

To purchase - try an Army and Navy surplus store ot any camping shop.

LED Torch - this can make a difference between able to walk at night or not. You can buy a small torch at Army and Navy surplus stores. Not cheap but easily fit into a pocket or handbag.
