The judges of the "In Bloom" competitions have, over the years, attached more and more importance to a vibrant and healthy relationship between the local Council and its community members. FOHS has helped bridge any gap between Salisbury District Council and those citizens of Salisbury who are interested in the green area of Harnham Slope. The efforts in this respect, on both sides, were rewarded by the presentation of a certificate to the Friends of Harnham Slope.
