RECLAIMING THE ALLOTTMENT STEPS

Image 1 for RECLAIMING THE ALLOTTMENT STEPS Once there was just a scruffy, very slippery track. In the winter it became treacherous and was little used.

Image 2 for RECLAIMING THE ALLOTTMENT STEPS After a few sessions by the "Friends", working as a team but very much on a voluntary basis, and with materials provided by Salisbury City Council Parks Section, and with the loan of tools, design guidance and not a little help from Salisbury Community Wildlife Officer from Wiltshire Wildlife, the scruffy steps were turned into something that looks nicer, is more useful, and is much safer to walk up and down. If you'd like to get involved in this sort of thing, please contact us for details.
