PLANTING BLUEBELLS IN OCTOBER 2011
A large number of helpers - some young and some not so young - joined in to plant 2000 bluebell bulbs on the Slope in the hope that it would add a bit of colour in the Springtime. Salisbury City Council supported the project by the provision of the bulbs and financial support for team refreshments. Local Councilor Brian Dalton kindly opened the "Dig-in" and the whole job was completed in little more than a couple of hours. Here are a few scenes of what happened.
