WHAT's ON during August 2013

Sat 24th Aug – Summer Garden Party by Bourne Valley Horticultural Society. Contact Bob 01980 619121.

Mon 26th Aug from 1.30pm – NEWTON TONY VILLAGE FETE on Bank Holiday Monday. Start 1.30pm £1 entry (adults only). Attractions include: Gun Dog Display, Fun Dog Show, Black Powder Clay Shoot, Archery, Bouncy Castles, Local Crafts, Cream Tea, BBQ & Beer Tent, Grand Prize Draw. Free Parking, Disabled Parking. Thurs 5th Sep at 7.30pm Bourne Valley Horticultural Society, at The Glebe Hall, Winterbourne Earls, SP4 6HA – The subject of the talk is Lawn Care. Contact Bob 01980 619121.

Sat 7th Sep from 2pm – 1st ANNUAL ROUNDERS TOURNAMENT at Winterbourne Cricket Ground. Play Starts 2pm. ALL WELCOME. Throughout the day and evening: BBQ, bar, music and fun& games for all. Sun 8th Sept from 1.30pm – WINTERBOURNE ANNUAL PARISH FOOTPATH WALK. Meet at the Glebe Hall, Winterbourne Earls on Sunday 8th September, anytime between 1.30pm and 4.30pm to pick up a map of the Village Footpaths and a questionnaire to report on the condition of the footpaths. You can walk one or more footpaths as you wish. You can also join a Guided Historical Walk leaving the Glebe Hall at 2pm. Dogs and Children welcome. Complimentary hot & cold drinks at the Hall.
