2nd Winterbourne Brownies

Girls from 2nd Winterbourne Brownies planted a tree in 2010 to mark the centenary of the Girl Guiding movement. More than 20 girls helped to plant the hawthorn tree on a patch of land in the village near the Glebe Hall, where their meetings are held. The tree was chosen because its red berries will be beneficial to birds, woodmice and other small mammals.
