As many of you will be aware, a group of local residents, including Mary and Patrick, together with the District Council bid for money from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) to give Victoria Park a major facelift. Sadly, the initial bid was not successful. However, another ‘pot’ of money is now available. Officers from Salisbury City Council met recently with HLF staff, were given great encouragement to re-apply and are just putting the finishing touches to the new bid.
They expect to hear by late October whether they’ve been successful
