WHAT's ON – February 2012

Sat 4th Feb 2.30pm to 4.30pm – NEW YEAR PARTY by Bourne Valley Link Scheme. Celebrate the New Year with entertainment by The Olde Tyme Players at the Glebe Hall, Winterbourne Earls SP4 6HA. Thurs 9th Feb – from 2pm to 4pm – THURSDAY SENIORS' CAFE – in Newton Tony Memorial Hall, SP4 0HF.

Wed 15th Feb at 10am – VOLUNTEER COPPICING EVENT. Meet at RSPB Manor Farm Yard, Newton Tony, SP4 0HA at 10am. We will be coppicing a section of the new woodland plantation. This will add structural diversity and wildlife value for butterflies and birds. All tools, gloves and training provided, just bring suitable clothing and footwear. In the bleak days of the Cold War, espionage veteran George Smiley is forced from semi-retirement to uncover a Soviet agent within MI6's echelons. Fri 2nd Mar – WOMEN'S WORLD DAY OF PRAYER service in St Michael's Church, Winterbourne Earls SP4 6HA. The theme this year is LET JUSTICE PREVAIL and the resources have been prepared by Christian women in Malaysia. Everyone is welcome (including Men!) Contact Maureen on 01980 611172.
