Skittles Night Photos

Social: Skittles evening with bangers and mash supper: Lorna Kingdon saw everyone into the hall for what was a really fun evening! The skittles teams were organised by Barry and Sue Pritchard who kept the play moving. Betty Barnett was kept busy selling raffle tickets for a selection of attractive prizes, and Terry and Lin Shrapnell did a roaring trade at the bar. The sausages were cooked by Janice Ford, the mash was made by Vera Foster, Trisha Woodley, Prue Castle and Christina Tailby, and Janice made the onion gravy. Served by Ann Read, Trisha and Janice, supper was delicious and greatly enjoyed. The winning team was The Layabouts, second came The Whatsits, and the killer competition was won by George Bayford. Barry and Sue presented everyone with their prizes and Peter Ford took the photographs for the photo résumé. May we say a big Thank You to Barry, Sue, Betty, Terry, Lin, Trisha, Ann, Vera, Christina, Prue, Janice and Peter; to Martyn Fry for getting the sausages for us; to Tony Futcher and Barry for collecting and returning the skittles alley and to Tony for using his lorry for this purpose; and to everyone who came and supported the evening - we raised £300 for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance Service. Well done everyone - we could not have managed it without you.
