Learning to Listen Courses

Who is this group for?
This group is suitable for anybody over the age of 16

What does the group hope to achieve?
This group hopes to achieve awareness and skills which will lead to improved listening

How often is this group run?
The length of this course is dependent upon the level taken

  • Level 1: 4x2 hour sessions over 2 weeks or a weekend (Saturday and Sunday 5 hours per day including lunch
  • Level 2: 14x2.5 hour sessions over 3 months

What happens in this group?
Teaching is done from the front. This course includes group activities, discussion, demonstration, practice and refreshments are provided.

Is a specific programme used?
The Acorn Christian Foundation: Level 1: Learning to Listen: Called to listen is followed for level one and for level 2 it is the qualification to be an active listener.
