The Shine Community Bus offers a Children's Club for children up to the age of 13 from the Gypsy and Traveller community.
Who runs the group? Alison Butterfield, Shine Development Co- ordinator, with a team of volunteers. Some are teachers and nursery nurses.
What are the aims of the group? The Children's Club aims to have fun., reinforce learning, social and life skills.
What happens at the group? After-school Club including craft activities, cooking, board games and puzzles, reading (encourage children to borrow books).
