Do you have a long-term health condition? Become an Expert Patient!
For 2.5 hours per week for 6 weeks take part in a self-management course to learn to self-manage your condition more effectively
Topics covered in the course include:
- Techniques to help you manage fatigue
- How to plan for the future
- Develop skills to manage anger, frustration and depression
- Communicate more effectively with health professionals
- How to take care of your health – through diet, exercise and relaxation
If you are over 18 and have a long-term health condition such as arthritis, asthma, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease or psoriasis the course could be of benefit to you. Want to know more?
