Saturday 9th August - Lost to Twyford

Saturday 2nd August Farley V Eastleigh & Otterbourne

Winning the toss and electing to field Farley took a chance that any assistance from the wicket would be there early on. In fact this did not appear to be the case as the bowlers didn’t bowl particularly well and Eastleigh & Otterbourne got off to a good start. Later on the bowlers tightened their line and slowed the opposition down keeping them to 182 for 6 with M. Matthews making 76 and Ramsey taking 4 for 41.
Farley paced their innings to reach the total with an over to spare for the loss of only 4 wickets. Ramsey 66*, Madzaveric 42, Coveney 31* and Redding 21 being the main contributors.

Wednesday 9th July - Lost to Breamore

Saturday 5th July - Farley 127 for 9 lost to South Newton 129 for 7
To let Des Jeffrey settle into his metronomic bowling style is courting trouble. This is what the Farley top four did on Saturday with dire consequence. Keith Redding perished trying to force him off his line and length, the others just perished.
Jeffrey’s twelve overs cost just eleven runs and he picked up four wickets in the process. 45 runs off 24 overs just about sealed the game for Farley and put considerable pressure upon the later batsmen. James Melhorn top scored with 27 and Gwyn Blenkinsop added a spirited 25 not out to get Farley to 127 for 9. This hardly looked enough.
Three very sharp chances at second slip snaffled by Redding were the highlight of the Farley fielding effort. Some honour was wrested back in claiming 7 wickets but S.Haggarty 28*, S.Partridge 21 and T.Moulding 20 saw South Newton home with six overs to spare.

Saturday 7th June - Farley V Over Wallop
Regional Division 1 – North

Winning the toss and electing to field the Farley skipper again gave his bowlers the chance to perform and he wasn’t disappointed. Over Wallop were bowled out for 172 with only R Cavill (62) offering any serious resistance.
Reju Joy returned figures of 6 for 30 following upon his 5 for 56 last week. He was ably supported as usual by Willis, Burton and Ramsey.
In reply the top of the Farley batting order again showed a lack of application, Rowlandson (48) and Spayes (20) excepted. It was left to skipper Ramsey (41*) batting at seven, with the tail, to pull off a rescue act. Farley got home with 2 overs to spare and two wickets in hand.
