For children aged 5-11
What are the aims of the club?
To have fun, learn about Jesus and his
love for us, encourage children and
their families to join the church, and
to become Christians
Who runs the club?
Suzanne Sherrington of City Gate Church
Salisbury
What happens in the club?
Children join the church for the first
part of the morning meeting, and then
split off into their own group to
dance, sing, hear Bible stories, learn
Bible verses, watch modern and comic
sketches, drink juice, buy sweets. We
plan and resource our own programme,
using ideas and materials from various
publishers including Scripture Union
Where and when does it meet?
St Mark’s School, Somerset Road.
First Sunday of the month in term time,
10.30-12am. A minibus collects
children from Partridge Way, Old Sarum
What qualifications do the helpers have?
The team are all church members and
includes two qualified school teachers.
Are all helpers CRB checked?
They are in the process of being
checked (August 2006)
