Choices, decisions, value judgments. No one can opt out! Doing nothing is still a choice. The consequences may be far-reaching - sometimes they pass unnoticed.
The rural economy, the landscape and community life in S. Wilts. are all affected by decisions. What is the basis for such decisions - purely financial or are there wider ethical issues - the common good, the environment, sustainable farming and nurturing healthy rural communities?
This website seeks to illustrate a number of issues, all raising ethical questions and value judgments, which affect a small part of Southern England but which have wider significance. It is very much a work in progress.
