OH DEAR, OH DEAR, OH DEAR. THERE IS TO BE NO ELECTION OF PARISH COUNCILLORS IN TISBURY THIS YEAR BECAUSE TOO FEW OF US OFFERED OUR SERVICES.Let us give praise that there were only eleven vacancies to fill, rather than our previous fifteen. THUS IT WILL BE THAT AT THE END OF THIS FOUR YEAR SESSION TISBURY WILL NOT HAVE HAD A PARISH COUNCIL ELECTION FOR ALL OF SIXTEEN YEARS.
PLEASE FIND BELOW THE LATEST INTAKE OF COUNCILLORS, WHOSE DUTY IT WILL BE TO CO-OPT ANOTHER TWO PERSONS TO SERVE AS PARISH COUNCILLORS. I SUPPOSE WE WILL GET THE USUAL RUSH OF APPLICANTS WHO HAD NO WISH TO STAND FOR ELECTION, BUT WHO WILL BE MORE THAN WILLING TO BECOME COUNCILLORS, IF ALLOWED IN THROUGHT THE BACK DOOR.
