Whats On
We offer free computer-based training in Maths & English skills leading to City & Guilds Qualification at Levels 1 & 2 - Level 2 is equivalent to an A-C grade at GCSE. The courses are short, flexible - candidates just need to attend the centre for a few hours each week - and tutor support is provided. Under our Skills for Life Scheme candidates can also obtain training in fork lift driving, food hygiene and IT for free. We also currently have a program that enables individuals to obtain their CSCS Card for free.
Candidates with limited existing qualifications, and some basic IT knowledge, can also receive free IT training leading to a Level 2 NVQ in IT (called ITQ).
Located close to the City Centre our Training Centre has limited, free parking for learners. We offer a friendly, but professional, welcome to all learners. The opening hours for our training rooms are 9-5 Monday to Thursday and 9- 2 on Fridays. Please see our website (see link below) for further details.
