The Southern Area Committee is comprised of 11 Salisbury District Councillors. Councillors are the people who take the decisions on items brought to the Southern Area Committee. They are elected once every four years (Salisbury District Council elects all of its Councillors at one time), and the last election was held on 1st May 2003 (which co- incided with ward boundary changes).
