Did you know that you could buy locally produced goods from Salisbury Country Market?
Come and pay us a visit any Saturday morning. You will find preserves, including varieties you will not find in the shops or supermarkets, baked products, honey, eggs, fruit and vegetables (in season) and plants. We offer the finest local produce at reasonable prices, making a visit an enjoyable experience. All our producers must meet the Country Market high standards in addition to the same statutory legal requirements as other retail outlets.

Baked Goods and Preserves
Our Baked Goods (cakes, sponges etc) and Preserves (we have 10 types of marmalade) are all hand made by our Producers in their own homes, making their produce truly “Home Made”. Our foods are not mass-produced and often reflect the maker’s style and recipe. We sell baked goods like Mother used to make. All of our foods are made in our kitchens using traditional domestic skills. They are freshly made from natural ingredients, like free-range eggs, and without preservatives or “fillers”. Many of our producers can tailor their foodstuffs to meet specific tastes (Gluten free or reduced sugar) to special order, and would be happy to advise you.

Fresh Produce
Fresh garden produce is always in demand and is very popular in our Market. There is nothing quite like freshly picked vegetables, herbs or fruit selected on the morning of the Market. In keeping with today’s needs, much of our garden produce is naturally grown. What was growing yesterday can be on your table today.

Plants
We offer a variety of perennials, shrubs, ferns and grasses, for the beginner to the more experienced gardener. Many of our plants are old or forgotten varieties, or rarely seen plants but we also have the newer varieties currently on the market. Here you will find plants to suit all tastes, not the usual "run of the mill" seen in most garden centres. And remember, all our plants come with free advice.

Every Saturday, come hail or shine (except Christmas and new Year) you will find Salisbury Country Market in the Market Square from 6 am to 2 pm. New customers are always welcome at the Country Market. You will find a very friendly atmosphere and can, in most cases, order goods in advance. Produce sells out very quickly and remember that latecomers may be disappointed.
