NATIONAL INFORMATION Townswomen's Guilds is a national organisation that was founded in 1929, and has been flourishing ever since. Guilds meet regularly, welcoming women from all walks of life and background, without discrimination. Members can exchange ideas, develop new skills, and make new friends. Townswomen can mount a strong lobby on national and regional issues which affect women and men alike.

LOCAL INFORMATION: Salisbury Bemerton Townswomen meet on the second Thursday of most months in the Roman Road Methodist church hall at 7.15pm. At these meetings we offer a variety of activities, including speakers on a wid variety of subjects and demonstrations. We always welcome new members of all ages to our monthly meetings to meet old friends and make new ones.

GUILD ACTIVITIES: In addition to the regular monthly meetings members can get involved in a variety of other leisure activities including craf theatre/cinema visits, walks, swimming, drama and all sorts of activities involving food and drink! other words something for everyone.
