Councillors are the people who take the decisions on items brought to the Northern Area Committee. They are elected once every four years (Salisbury District Council elects all of its Councillors at one time), and the last election was held on May 1st 2003 (which coincided with ward boundary changes).   • Dennis Wright Brown, Conservative candidate, 795 votes.
  • Ian MacFarlene Micthell, 364 votes
  • John Cornelis Noeken, Conservative candidate, 727 votes.
  • Allan Peach, Conservative candidate, 917 votes.
  • John Rodell, Liberal Democrat candidate, 327 votes.
