The L'Estrange Companye of Salisbury is one of the Retinues Of the British Plate Armour Society. The Society was founded in the 1970's and has members from all parts of the country.
Members of the Society put on displays of armour,weapons and fighting, in small local shows or larger multi- society events, trying to make the medieval period interesting and exciting.
