GWR FM Black Thunder Treasure Hunt

Thirteen teams took part in our Treasure Hunt on Sunday 18th May. Everyone had a really good day and we raised £520 for charities and voluntary groups in Swindon & Wiltshire. The winning team with 71½ points was ‘The Italian Job’, using a car provided by Venues Unlimited.

We’d like to give a big thank you to all the local businesses who donated various items for this action packed day. They are… Pebley Beach & Swindon Speedway for donating the main prize of a VIP visit for 6 people to Swindon Speedway.

Dan at The Villiers Inn, Wroughton for donating the fantastic BBQ and buffet in the Ridgeway Hall for all the participants at the end of the route.
The Co-operative Store in Old Town, Swindon for providing delicious Danish pastries for all the participants to start them on their way.
Wrag Barn Golf & Country Club, Highworth for donating a round of golf for 4 people. Malmesbury Garden Centre for donating £20 of vouchers.
