Little Fishes Day Nursery

Little Fishes Day Nursery is for children from six weeks olde to school entrance.

Who runs the group?
Alma Southam and three members of staff, two with the relevant early years qualifications. The third member of staff is working towards an early years qualification.

The nursery is a member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance and works with the Wiltshire Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership. Wiltshire Birth to 3 Matters, Building Blocks, OfSted Registered ('Good' OfSted report) and Bristol Standards Accredited.

What are the aims of the group?
Little Fishes day Nursery aims to foster children's development from birth to pre-school.

What happens at the group?
Our Little Fishes day Nursery is warm, comfortable, safe and friendly. There are seperate rooms for babies, tweenies, toddlers and pre- school; each is brightly lit and cheerfully decorated and furnished.

Meals, including vegetarian and other dietary requirements are prepared by our cook in our well equipped kitchen. Ergonomictoilet and washing facilities are specifically designed for child use.

There is a secure exterior play area and the adjacent Factory Sports Hall is available on wet days. Nearby Elizabeth Gardens are visited in the summer months for picnics and play.

Where and when?
Monday - Friday, 8am-6pm, 51 weeks a year at the Nursery Building, Elim Christian Centre.
