Downton Band is a traditional Village Band. We contest in the Wessex Brass Band Contest and at the West of England National Contest every year.
We practice in our own Band Hall in Gravel Lane Downton on a Wed night from 8pm to 10pm. We also have a Youth/ Training Band which practices between 6.30pm and 8pm
We are a self supporting Band which plays at many functions within the village and the surrounding area. We enjoy our music and welcome new players of all standards
