The Wessex Digital Photography Centre runs courses on digital photography for amateur photographers. The one day courses are intended to help both the beginner and the more experienced film photographer learn the new technology involved in the digital camera and the computer. The teaching is by an experienced professional photographer and structured to lead you through the process logically and methodically.
The Wessex Digital Photography Centre is situated in a converted barn in Berwick St Leonard not far from Tisbury. No more than eight students are permitted on each course to ensure a high level of personal assistance. The instruction is given in a friendly and relaxed manner, with breaks for refreshment. The one day courses assemble at 9.45 am and disperse at 5.30 pm. Lunch and refreshments are provided.
Convert to Digital Course. For film photographers who wish to convert to digital - 6 hour course. Basic Course. For the beginner who needs instruction in photography, computer use, and digital matters - one day. Digital Photography for the Business Course. For anyone who uses photography in his or her business (eg for showing items on e-Bay)- one day Digital Single Lens Reflex Camera Course. For anyone new to the DSLR and needing instruction in its use - two day. Portrait Course. This course covers inside and outside portrait photography of groups and individuals, involving practical and computer work - two day. Landscape Course. An opportunity to photograph the beautiful Wiltshire countryside - two day.
