Cllr. Jeremy Nettle has been working with Council officers and English Nature to extend the Avon Valley Local Nature Reserve, to include the River Avon and north of the new Five Rivers. The new interpretation signs installed in June this year provides visitors and school children with pictorial information about the wildlife interest in the area throughout the year. The area provides accessible natural green space and is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest and is therefore will now become a Special Area of Conservation. Leisure complex.
