About Me!
I'm married with two children and live in St. Mark’s Ward in Salisbury. I am a volunteer with the homeless, the Salisbury Hospice, and a G.P. Neighbourhood Care Scheme. I am also a member of Inner Wheel, of a Cancer Support Group a Patron of the Playhouse and a Member of the newly refurbished Arts Centre.
I attend St Mark’s Church and my interests include travel, the theatre, swimming and tennis.
Mayor of New Sarum (Salisbury) 2006-2007
I am honoured to be Mayor of Salisbury and I am very pleased to support the work of Alabare raising funds for a Drop In Centre for the vulnerable and homeless.I hope the people of Salisbury will support this worthwhile cause. If you wish to donate or hold an event to raise funds please contact me.
Local Issues
As your St Mark's Ward Councillor, I get involved in all sorts of local issues and I am always keen to hear the views
of consituents on local matters. At the moment the sort of issues that occupy my time are:
- Resident’s and City Parking
- Speeding Traffic
- Vandalism and Graffiti
- Public Transport
- Planning
- Parks and Open Spaces
- Facilities for young people
- Cycle ways and footpaths
- Travellers, etc.

- The Avon Valley Cycleway extension
- Butt of Ale reopening
- Stratford Road parking issues
- Stratford Social Club project
- Hudson's Field special needs play area
- St Marks/Bishopdown walk and cycleway
- Resident’s parking consultation
- Victoria Park – improved sports facilities, flood lighting, camera for the bowling club
- New swimming pool and refurbished leisure complex
- Reduction in graffiti
- Repair of
underpass lights
- Ashley Road traffic calming
- Resident’s Association liaison.
