Attending meetings to represent the interests of local residents is an important part of the work of a Councillor, but there is much more to it than attending meetings. Looking after the interests of local residents in the St Mark's and Stratford ward area often takes me out and about meeting local people to talk about local issues. In the evening there is the correspondence and constituency work to catch up with. So all in all its a pretty busy job. It is also a very rewarding job and I feel it is a privilege to be able to serve the local community.

Here are some photos that illustrate the sort of things I get involved with...

Another abandoned car, luckily this one isn't in the ward!

Checking out the cycleways, this time in the Bishopdown area.

Evenings in front of the computer - getting to grips with constituency work.

Victoria Park Tennis Club - working with young people and the young at heart!
