Bournemouth seafront
Bournemouth is renowned for its seven miles of soft, golden sands and sheltered bathing waters. We have more accolades for the cleanliness and safety of our beaches than any other UK seaside destination - three European Blue Flags, six Seaside Awards and four 'Good Beach Guide Awards' for Durley Chine, Alum Chine, Southbourne and Hengistbury Head West sponsored by the Marine Conservation Society, and Bournemouth Pier beach has been named the 'Best Beach In The UK' 2004 by environmental group ENCAMS.
We have beachside restaurants, cafés, bars, water sports, beach games, amusements and piers, with a whole host of attractions and events throughout the year to fill the days. To ensure your day on the beach is stress free, we have land trains to take you from one end of the beach to the other, cliff lifts, chalets, deck chairs and parasols for your use.
