Whats On
Antrobus House is Amesbury's Premier Wedding & Events venue and has recently reopened in May 2019 after extensive refurbishment throughout. Antrobus House is available to hire for all sorts of weddings, special events and occasions/celebrations, as well as for meetings, exhibitions, conferences, corporate events, clubs, classes and groups. If you're looking for a prestigious, characterful venue to hire with plenty of parking, please get in touch to arrange a viewing - we will be only too pleased to show you around.
This stunning Grade II Listed House was built in 1923 in the Queen Anne style and opened in 1925. It has two large function rooms for hire each measuring 26ft x 44ft. The Edmund Hall is the main function room with its own stage, located on the ground floor, and the beautiful Lady Florence Room is on the first floor. Hirers may also enjoy use of the extensive grounds (three acres of formal gardens and parkland) both at the front of the House and the rear, where appropriate and available.
The recent renovation and refurbishment work carried out has included : installation of a brand new industrial kitchen; new Ladies/Gents toilets, new Disabled WC, new Baby Changing facilities; installation of new curtains and new parquet flooring in the Edmund Hall; installation of a new heating system; installation of new fire escape from the Lady Florence Room; new WiFi; new CCTV; new fire/burglar alarms. Antrobus House is the perfect choice of venue for all kinds of events and we look forward to welcoming you soon.
