Staff at 17 Alabaré Christian Care Centres in South Wiltshire are providing food, support, advice and shelter to more than 800 people each year. We believe in tackling issues head-on and help many of the most vulnerable people in our community.

Centres include hostels providing safe accommodation for homeless single people and couples, young people aged 16-25 who cannot live at home, and women who are rebuilding their lives after fleeing volatile situations. We also run Drop-In services in Salisbury and Devizes where homeless people can find hot food, a shower, wash clothes and have friendly a friendly chat with our volunteers. Founded by a group of Christians in Salisbury in 1991, Alabaré (Spanish for "I will praise!") teams help people of all faiths and none.

Please show your support for our work by making a donation, volunteering at a Centre, supporting an event or inviting us to your community group or church to speak about our work. Please visit our diary pages to see news of exciting events. Thank you for reading our page!
