Submit Your Site to the Search Engines

Once you have created a site it is worth letting the whole world know about it. The best way of attracting visitors to your site is to ensure that it is listed by the major search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN. The links here will take you to the search engines 'submit-a- site' pages where you will be asked to enter the adress of your home page. So jot down your web address which will be something like http://www.southwilt s.com/site/yoursite/ index.htm. Once you have submitted your page the search engines will pay a visit to your site and index the contents - this can take a few weeks. Once your website has been indexed it will start to appear in the search results of the search engines. You only need to submit your site once - why not try it now.
