The Tisbury Area

The Tisbury area is a mix of chalk uplands and beautiful valleys. The Vale of Wardour, formed by the valley of the Nadder is at the centre of the area, to the north lie the West Wiltshire Downs and to the South the Cranborne Chase.

It is an area of outstanding natural beauty that has changed little over many centuries. Tisbury is the main settlement with a railway station and shopping centre. It is also home to the areas only sports and leisure facility - the Tisbury and District Sports Centre.

The main attractions include Wardour Castle, Fovant Badges and the Victorian Larmer Tree Pleasure Grounds at Tollard Royal.
