Shrewton WI photo gallery
The Craft & Produce Show 2007! Members jumped at the chance to show off what they can do at our new show in September at Shrewton Methodist Church. In they came with giant glossy vegetables, stunning flowers, clever craft and wonderful tempting cookery and preserves entries. In our picture Joan Briggs (right of centre) was the overall show winner; with her are (left to right) Margaret Turner (3rd overall winner), Shirley Pitman (2nd) and right, Elaine Davies, 4th. Well done, ladies!

Also smiling was non-member John Shone, whose display of beautiful fishing flies helped him win the non-members' section. Four judges were booked to judge the items in 44 classes, including flowers, garden produce, cookery, jams and preserves, craft, art and photographs.

In our picture (above) is the prize flower arrangement by Shirley Pitman, who was the 2nd overall winner of the show.
