Salisbury Beekeepers - updated 18/05/2009

A picture for Salisbury-and-District-Beekeepers-Association

Welcome to the Salisbury & District Beekeepers website. We are a group of 69 hobbyist beekeepers who meet regularly to discuss beekeeping matters and offer advice and support to fellow beekeepers. In the winter months we meet at the St . George's Church Hall, Lower St, West Harnham about every 4 weeks and in the summer we visit our branch and private apiaries, and attend flower and agricultural shows to encourage newcomers to the craft.

The Association is managed by a committee of 9 members who endeavour to arrange an interesting programme of winter talks and summer apiary meetings. It was started by enthusiasts in 1907, and has links with other groups in Wiltshire and with other counties through its association with the British Beekeepers Association (BBKA).

Come and join us by phoning our membership secretary Chris Shingles (01722 782585) for further details or just turn up at one of the meetings listed on the following pages.
