We welcome anyone with an interest in astronomy. You do not need to own a telescope or binoculars, the society has a wide selection for you to have a hands on try before you invest any money in purchasing equipment.
We meet on the first Thursday of each month at Glebe Hall Winterbourne Earls at 7.30.pm and we also have a viewing area at Old Sarum Airfield on the third Thursday of each month weather permitting. Novices are especially welcome to come along and discuss any query about viewing and equipment.
We have visits to other societies within driving moderate distance of Salisbury, Guest speakers and Star Parties, Christmas Lecture and Party evening in December.
