What a difference a day makes, for today was the day that Quarry Lane SP3 was resurfaced, and left all shiny and bright, and let it be known that I very graciously became the first member of the Public to tread its surface, not sure that counts as actually opening it. Indeed the man said I should take care not to leave my shoe print on the warm surface.

Apparently it should be good for all of twenty five years, providing the roadside culvert is cleared, and the bridge over the Nadder is repaired, for the latter didn't get resurfaced. The machinery shook our house so there is no telling what it would have done to the bridge.14.01.2016
