About the Museum: The Museum holds more than 5000 items, including over 2000 photographs, relating mainly to the history of Mere and district. There is a small permanent exhibition about Mere for visitors to the area, and larger exhibitions which are changed every three months. The current exhibition is entitled 'Pillar to Post' - a history of the postal service in Mere.
