STEP REPAIR
After considerable use, and a fair amount of weathering, some of the steps up the Slope needed some "first aid". With some material provided by Salisbury City Council, some manpower (and some woman power) provided by the Friends of Harnham Slope a period of "renovation" was undertaken.

After some bashing, digging, laughing, and good natured bantering the new wood, some more gravel and a few nails all came together and the worn treads were replaced, and a few extra treads were inserted - much to the joy of those of us with shorter legs!! We hope that all those who use the Slope (be they on 2 legs - long or short - or even on 4 legs) now find it easier to get up and down the steeper parts of the terrain. Another good job done.
