Owl Boxes
Using a small grant of money from Action Earth, CSV Environment (which supports environmental projects undertaken by voluntary groups such as FOHS), a number of owl boxes were purchased and installed on the Slope. There has been quite a lot of evidence of owl activity in the area, so it was thought very appropriate to try and encourage them to take up residence on the Slope! The safety kit visible is for protection in case of falling off the ladder - not against attacks by disgruntled owls!!!
