Dinton is a small thriving village, which nestles on the river Nadder in the south of Wiltshire. The Parish of Dinton contains the hamlets of Baverstock to the east and Marshwood to the north.
The Nadder forms the southern village boundary with the wooded ridge of The Hanging to the north, Phillips House in Dinton Park to the west & the hamlet of Baverstock to the east.
The B3089 runs through the centre of the village. Wilton is 5 ½ miles and Salisbury 9 miles to the east, with Shaftesbury 15 miles south west.
