Nurse Triage System
To ease the pressure on appointments we want to try a new system for dealing with requests for urgent, same day appointments.
When you telephone in the morning for an urgent appointment the receptionist will take your name and number and the Practice Nurse will ring you back within the hour.
The nurse will either:
- Give you advice
- Arrange for the Doctor to telephone you to give advice at the end of the morning
- Give you an appointment with the Nurse
- Give you an appointment with the Doctor
Many problems can be dealt with by telephone, which means appointments can be given to those who really need to be seen. We hope this new system will be better for you. Please bear with us as we begin, and let us have any feedback - good or bad!
